REACHING JOBS OVER PRE - QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING Coordinator in realization of this programme of professional training in Nis is member of the Council of the Serbian Government for professional education and education of the adults and member of Social-economic Council of the City of Nis, Blagoje Stanisavljevic. We are planning that with this project we are about to engage about 200 not employed people in Nis, 40 per each Municipality. Training will be in workshops of the best Nis traders and craftsmen-emphasized Blagoje Stanisavljevic, president of Chamber of Commerce, Nis. After the completion of practical training and theory lectures, our candidates will be having an exam and get the certificate for professional qualification for certain profession or craft. Professional qualification will be in duration of 3-6 months depending on complexity of crafts and training will be done free of charge and without any compensation. Member of Municipal Council of Palilula, Zlatko Semic, emphasized that after the call contest the biggest interest of the candidates was for ceramist profession. From 97 applied, 23 wanted to have pre-qualification for ceramist profession, then male and female tailor, glass cutter, iconographic artist and painter. The lowest number of them applied for the training for shoemaker, leather tailor, pie man –baker and dry cleaner. Rodoljub Mitic, secretary of the Association of independent traders, noticed that Chamber Association had enough power to offer to the city and Palilula Municipality possibility for per-qualification of certain number of the unemployed. We will engage our best professionals who will be implementing professional part of training, while our professionals from Labor Law, Work Safety and other general businesses will have their courses in Crafts Home, i.e. in City Municipal buildings. Work for certain professions has been already provided. Only it is necessary that candidates show the interest and go through this training. From provided professions – 20 crafts for which the candidates will be trained, 15 are for female population. Candidates were offered training for the following professions: female hair stylist, barber, beautician, manicurist, pedicurist, make-up artists, shoemakers, bag makers, leather tailor, men's and women's clothing tailor, glass cutter, iconographic artists, gold-craft profession, painter, photographer, dry cleaner and material dyeing, ceramist, baker, pie man –baker. |
